Temporary Hydrant / Construction Meters
Customers in need of a temporary use hydrant meter are urged to review the map of the water districts service area boundary before filling out a hydrant meter permit
, all water used must be in District boundaries.
Please fill in the highlighted areas of the hydrant permit application and bring it to the office with a deposit check and backflow assembly for inspection.
Please make your check payable to West Valley Water District. Note: Checks only, please.
A 24 hour notice is recommended for temporary hydrant meter rentals. The customer will need to contact West Valley Water District’s Cross Connection Department for scheduling at (909) 875-1804 ext. 338 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. All hydrant meters require the use of a Reduced Pressure Backflow Assembly to be supplied by the customer. Reduced Pressure Backflow Assemblies can be obtained at a commercial plumbing or landscape supplier. A minimum of a 2” assembly is recommended to meet flow requirements.
