I have been employed by the District for the past 47 years working my way up through the ranks to the position of General Manager nearly 16 years ago. I have been a resident of the City of Rialto for the past 60 years and as you might imagine I have seen many changes in our community.
I attended Rialto Schools and graduated from Eisenhower in 1961 and attended Valley College and Cal State San Bernardino and have achieved my Operator Distribution Three and Treatment Two Certificates. I have tried to keep myself active in the community and belong to the following Associations:
- American Waterworks Association
- Association of California Water Agencies
- California Special Districts Association
- City of Rialto Planning Commission (Past)
- Friends of Rialto Police K-9’s (Board Member)
- Inland Counties Water Association (Past President)
- Inland Empire Perchlorate Task Force
- Lytle Creek Water Conservation Association (President)
- Rialto Groundwater Basin Association (Chairman)
- Rialto Rotary Club (Past President)
- Rialto Unified School District Bond Committee
- San Bernardino Harley Owners Group (Director)
- Upper Santa Ana Water Resources Association (President)
- Water Resources Institute Cal State San Bernardino (Board Member)
- West End Water Development Treatment and Conservation, JPA
- Western Coalition of Arid States
I am married to Diana and have one son and five stepchildren. I occasionally like to go play a round of golf, which I am not very good at, and am an avid motorcyclist in my spare time. |
