As the Assistant General Manager of West Valley Water District, I work at the direction of the General Manager and the Board of Directors to provide studies, analyses, and information to help make policy decisions.
In addition, I help manage the day to day operations of the field and office staff including planning, engineering, operations, and administrative functions including:
- Coordinating with consultants
- Coordinating with other water agencies on a local, regional, and state level
- Interacting with resource agencies over regulatory and environmental issues
- Overseeing the development and management of water resources for the current and future needs of the communities we serve
- Working with industrial, commercial, and residential developers to put in place Developer Water Service Agreements
I have 26 years of public and private sector experience in the design, construction, management, and administration of public infrastructure.
My position at the District, allows me to understand the region’s water resources and the need for proper management and development of projects. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University of Pomona. |
