Health Benefits
The District's full-time employees can choose between
Blue Cross of California PPO or HMO plans and
Kaiser Permanente. The plan is administered by
Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA). The health benefit becomes available after 60 days of employment on the first of the following month. The District pays the total cost including the employee’s dependents.
Vision Benefits
The District’s full-time employees are provided with
Vision Service Plan (VSP) vision insurance. The plan is administered by ACWA. The vision benefit becomes available after 60 days of employment on the first of the following month. The District pays the total cost including the employee’s dependents.
Dental Benefits
The District’s full-time employees can choose between California Dental Service and Delta Dental Plan. The plan is administered by ACWA. The dental benefit becomes available after six months of employment on the first of the following month. The District pays the total cost including the employee’s dependents.
