Community Sponsorships
Community Sponsorship Program
As part of it's strategic plan, West Valley Water District (WVWD) recognizes the importance of being a proactive community partner and promoting public awareness of WVWD's mission and vision. Sponsorship requests will be required to demonstrate a nexus to water, conservation or water resource management.
WVWD sponsors events that meet the following criteria:
- Event is a city-sponsored or city-supported event.
- Event is put on by community-based organizations including nonprofit groups, professional associations, educational institutions and public agencies.
- WVWD's participation would help provide education about water and sustainability, and related concepts.
- WVWD's participation would help to inspire innovation, development and further investment in the energy and water industries.
Approval Process
Sponsorship requests are reviewed and distributed on a first - come, first-served basis. To request West Valley Water District (West Valley) monetary or in-kind support, organizations must complete and submit this Community Sponsorship Program Application. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and must be received no less than four (4) weeks prior to the event date(s) or community project or program start date to ensure supply of requested materials. Sponsorship requests are reviewed and distributed on a first - come, first-served basis.
Sponsorship requests from the following shall not be considered:
- For-profit entities, individuals, political organizations or campaigns, and partisan causes.
- Religious or church organizations unless the sponsored event is open to the general public and serves a non-sectarian purpose.
How to Submit a Sponsorship Request
Applicants must complete and submit a sponsorship application by filling out the online form or printing out the form and emailing it to social@wvwd.org.
