West Valley Water District (WVWD) proudly celebrated the winners of its 2026 Annual Poster Contest, recognizing talented young artists from across the District’s service area. This year’s theme, “Being a Water Superhero Means…”, encouraged students to showcase their creativity while illustrating the importance of saving water and inspiring others to become water-saving superheroes in their own communities.

Students in grades 1st through 6th were invited to participate and use their artistic talents to bring the theme to life. The winning students were recognized at the November 5th Board of Directors meeting for showcasing their creativity, artistic expression, and thoughtful storytelling. Their winning artwork will be featured in WVWD’s upcoming 2027 Annual Calendar.

“Our annual poster contest is a reminder that you’re never too young to practice water-saving habits,” said WVWD Board President Kelvin Moore. “On behalf of the WVWD Board of Directors, we are proud of our young water stewards and the amazing artwork they created in reminding us that we can all be water superheroes!”

This year, WVWD received nearly 350 vibrant entries from students throughout its service area. District staff evaluated each poster based on creativity, expression of the contest theme, and artistic effort.
