Under the direction and supervision of our publicly elected board of directors, the WVWD Administration Department provides strategic planning to develop and meet long-term goals, maintains official records and oversees the day-to-day operations of the agency.
Our administration department also includes WVWD’s senior leaders — the General Manager, and Assistant General Manager — who work together to optimize the reliability, efficiency and accountability of WVWD’s services. In addition to day-to-day management and recordkeeping for WVWD, the administration department provides direct support for the board of directors by compiling board meeting agendas and staff reports, recording public comments and responding to board questions and concerns. The administration department also plays a critical role in interagency coordination and consultation by serving as a vector between departments for broader planning and support.
