The WVWD Information Technology Department is committed to providing best-in-class technology services, solutions and support for organization staff and customers. The department is responsible for maintaining our information and communications technology infrastructure, which ranges from audio and visual equipment computer software and hardware.
With the ongoing international transition to remote and hybrid work, our information technology department plays a pivotal role in ensuring WVWD can sustain operations remotely while minimizing the number of on-site staff. WVWD is also improving the organization’s transparency and public access by making consistent upgrades to our communications systems and computer technology. In addition to these efforts to modernize our technology needs, the department is also making earnest efforts to improve the organization’s cybersecurity to protect ratepayers and ensure the safety of our services to the West Valley region.
